May Virtual Workshop - Know Your Rights
Our half-day workshops tackle relevant topics that women in 911 face today. Workshops provide the participants tactical instruction to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities and advance their skills and careers. Each workshop’s content is built on four pillars of training topics: leadership in 911, career development, skills for the 911 center, and mental health. Sessions will be live and interactive, but also recorded and available for play-back.
As always, this workshop is designed for the 9-1-1 community and will help you:
* Understand your legal rights and protections in the workplace.
* Gain confidence in navigating challenges and advocating for yourself.
* Empower yourself to advance your career.

The 911der Women Foundation invites you to join us for our fourth annual virtual 5K! You can walk, jog, run, or roll indoors or outdoors to participate. Women, men, children and dogs are all invited to participate. Over the last three years we had over 2,100 participants from around the world!
Our Empower 5K will take place from April 11 - April 14, 2024 to account for the often hectic schedules of our incredible 911 dispatchers.

October Virtual Workshop - The Women of iCERT
Not all 911der Women wear headsets. This month, we are partnering with iCERT- The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies to feature some of the incredible women who lead from the private sector to make 911 better!

911der Women Academy - Finding Your Inner Leader
There is a leader in all of us. Regardless of our age, our title, or our current position. But sometimes it's hard to develop the skills to become a better leader when our jobs are so intense, the hours are long, and the rest is rare. Sometimes we are thrown into leadership roles without training or tools to utilize to be successful. In order to bring that leader out, we need to continue to learn new techniques, hear other stories, and develop those skills to make a difference in 911.

Each workshop is built on four pillars of skills training: leadership in 911, career development, skills for the 911 center, and mental health. Let's go! We are doing a virtual run/walk/workout of the day together! From Thursday, Oct. 22 - Sunday Oct. 25, complete a 5K, 10K (run or walk), or a workout of the day that will be posted in the group.
