This two-day in-person workshop will be held on August 24 & 25 in Orlando Florida.
There are not an overwhelming amount of leadership conferences specific to 911. Of those that exist, few are taught by women. When over 70% of 911 professionals are women, there is a huge need for women to share their leadership perspectives. This two-day conference focusses on leadership skills in 911 and beyond and is taught by women who have been in leadership positions and have so much knowledge to share.
There is a leader in all of us. Regardless of our age, our title, or our current position. But sometimes it's hard to develop the skills to become a better leader when our jobs are so intense, the hours are long, and the rest is rare. Sometimes we are thrown into leadership roles without training or tools to utilize to be successful. In order to bring that leader out, we need to continue to learn new techniques, hear other stories, and develop those skills to make a difference in 911.
Objectives for the workshop:
1. Teach attendees to think critically about leadership styles and skills and develop confidence in themselves.
2. Demonstrate how different leadership styles can work in different ways, but each can be effective if skills are honed.
3. Inspire attendees to step into their leadership styles.
4. Empower attendees to step into the driver's seat of their career and learn the skill sets necessary for leadership, management, and career development.
Registration is $99 before August 1st and $149 after.
Attendees will receive a workbook and lunch and snacks will be provided. You will not need a laptop but are welcome to bring one.
