Our Mission

Strengthen and support the Women of 911 and equip them with the tools to foster professional and personal growth. 911der Women is a nonprofit and community providing mental health and wellness resources, training, career development, outreach & research to our 911 responders who are the public safety lifeline to those who call in need of help.

Tour and Tell: Stronger Relationships. Smarter Legislation.

 In partnership with the NG9-1-1 Institute, we’re proud to launch Tour and Tell, a nationwide initiative to build stronger legislative relationships by inviting members of Congress into local 911 centers. With Congress in recess in August and many representatives back in their home districts, now is the perfect time for PSAPs to open their doors and give elected officials a firsthand look at the critical work being done every day.

To support these efforts, we’ve created customizable resources for both 911 professionals and legislators, everything needed to request, plan, and host impactful tours that spark real understanding and support for emergency communications.

Let’s show them what it takes to answer the call. By offering your legislators a firsthand look at your PSAP, you help them understand why modernizing our nation’s 911 system through NG911 is essential. Legacy 911 can't support today’s mobile, text, video, and data-driven world. NG911 can. Let’s build legislative support for 911, one tour at a time.
